• 4:10 Differential gears

• 2.5 inch cat-back exhaust system
• Rubicon Express 4.5 inch lift kit with full rear leaf springs
• Rubicon Express Slip Yoke Eliminator
• Warn M 8000 Winch
• ARB Front Bumper
• Durango 4x4 rear bumper with class III hitch and swing-out tire carrier
• Mountain Offroad steering conversion
• Front diff guard
• Transfer case skidplate / crossmember
• IPF off-road lights
• Rocker guards
• 33" bias ply Mickey Thompson Baja Claws
• trimmed fenders, with TJ fender flares.

1984 - 4 door

Dana 30 Front / 3.4 liter V6 / 904 Auto Trans / NP207 T-case / AMC Model 20 Rear

I have been doing a few upgrades to my 1984 Cherokee (XJ)

I have:

• installed an Optima battery

  

• had Old Man EMU suspension installed

  I am "very pleased" with the height and ride on this lift package.
  (pre lift suspension pictured above)

• had the 2.8 replaced with a 3.4 from a Camaro

  This engine bolts right up to the stock trans and with very few mods is a good upgrade option (I was not sold until I upgraded the carb too)

• replaced the stock carb with a Weber. I used the one for the Chevy 2.8 (Model K490) and it went right in.

  this was a "wonderful" upgrade I feel the stock carb is a piece of junk.

  

• replaced the front drive shaft (from a local shop) with one using universal joints.

  

  

• Installed an Aero 30 gal. gas tank with a 1/4" steel skidplate attached. It works great (except for the sending unit)
